Pockets of goodness. 
I have stayed here at Lake Poaka multiple times. Have spent many a happy hour in the dawn of early morning quietly enjoying the sheer pleasure of it. Have listened to the geese and ducks greet each other for the day. I have spent hours paddle boarding it, discovering all it has to offer and have sat here under the stars in the depths of a dark night feeling thankful.
It wasn’t Autumn, yet the trees held their golden colour, as if they were waiting for me to arrive. The simplest of frames exuding the power of the natural world. It is always there. We just need to open our eyes and see.
